Very Impressed!

I am withholding one star because I haven't used the bag yet. But it it a beautiful, sturdy, and well-equipped bag. I am confident I'll be using it happily for years to come. I especially love the built in suiter and the compression mechanism. It is a bit heavier than my previous bag, but I am hoping that means increased durability.

Newbie to Briggs & Riley

Just returned from a 10 day Mediterranean cruise with my new medium baseline expandable luggage and I was able to fit 10 days worth of clothing and other items without expanding the luggage. Quite frankly as a newbie to B&R I forgot about the unique compression feature. The luggage performed as advertised. There was one occasion when the spinner wheels did not roll in a straight line but instead pulled from side to side. I'm 5' 3" and 75 years old. Glad I purchased medium instead of large size. Large would have been too awkward and heavy for me and I'm in good shape. So far very happy with this purchase. Would recommend this luggage.

High quality check-in bag.

This is our second Briggs and Riley bag, but our first one from the Baseline line. We love it, and have already ordered a second one. Our favorite aspects are the useful expander buttons, and the section that allows you to store hangered clothes. This helps with not ironing when you get to your destination. The pockets are useful and are in good locations. I like the top zipper pocket, which is where I store my phone and wallet when I go through security. It moves around well also. The bag is on the heavy side when it's empty, but it's not a big deal to me. Yes, it is expensive. We never thought we would spend this much on luggage. But we are fortunate that we are now able to splurge on high quality items. We plan to use this as our check-in bag for all of our future travels.

Airport travel

There must be something on the small carry on bag. We got stopped and thoroughly examined in England and Paris. We checked all the compartments and never found the problem. It made going through security extra long. Otherwise the bag was roomy and easy to use.
