Disappointed
I have the original Cabin Duffle and it's quality is superior to this redesign. This new design seems floppy and without the extra small features Briggs was know for. Examples: The ID tag doesn't snap back into it's pocket, the second, exterior, side pocket is gone, the handles are no longer easy use magnetic, there's not extra rear pocket on the pass luggage handle pass through, the front organization or admin panel is not as accommodating for pens, keys, phone, etc., the bag doesn't offer support when unzipped like original, it just stays floppy. Where's the innovation? Where's the clever redesign? The only thing that hasn't changed is the price. I own 4 Briggs and Riley products and have waited a while to replace my Cabin duffle and am very disappointed.

Underseat duffle and cabin spinner
I use the underseat duffle and the cabin spinner together. Duffle under seat fits well and cabin spinner is light and easy for me to put in overhead bin.

No longer innovative
This bag does not have the quality of the previous cabin duffel. The previous had more organization in the front pocket for pens, passport, etc. There were more exterior pockets cleverly integrated on the exterior, there was a magnetic, closure in the handle, there was a snap-back id holder, the material felt more quality. None of this is present in the current version. Disappointing from a person with several Briggs and Riley products.

Good, nearly great.
I works great for the things needed in the flight with the end pockets and the large top opening pocket, etc. The design is very good. It is not big but adds some capacity to a larger carry-on piece. I like it but admit it is overpriced and not perfect. Great would mean a few improvements: a stiffer floor so it doesn't collapse on itself when using the shoulder strap, a tighter slip-through sleeve to loop over the handle of another bag so it doesn't swing around (I might put a snap in the center to hold it tighter), inner pockets are a bit floppy and could use velcro or a stitch in the center, addition of a tether for keys, and addition of a pen pocket.

Good bag, bad structure.
I was hoping the bag was going to do a better job at having some structure but its kind of a wet noodle. That being said, it has good pockets, and materials.

It's just not a highly
It's just not a highly flexible bag. Too many pockets and a little small.

Some reviewers are missing the point of this bag
For those unhappy about the bag's lack of structure and stiffness, I believe it was designed this way deliberately. Stiff tote bags notoriously can’t fit under many seats as intended. Think of this bag as a medium sized purse or gym bag that matches the rest of your luggage. You can load plenty of things in here that you’d want in flight or to supplement what’s in your main carry on such as an extra pair of shoes, small sized toiletries, tablet, AirPods etc. But this is intended to be an extra tote that crams easily under a tight seat, not your main bag.
