It heats up well

We love the retractable effect but it only lasted us maybe 1.5 years. It heats up very well. The steam is HOT. I only wish it would have lasted longer. Irons get pretty expensive.

Don't hesitate to purchase!

Best iron I've ever owned....and I'm in my late 50's so I've had.plenty of irons! II purchased this iron late last year and purposely waited to review to give longevity opinion. The iron is working as well today as the first day I used it! Love the very hot steam on cotton clothes. Gets the wrinkles right out! Only negative for me is the cord is not long enough for where i do my ironing. Otherwise , this is a perfect purchase!

Garbage

I purchase this iron in October of 2021. 7 months later the iron is leaking all over the place. Can’t iron without soaking out the attire all over. Waste of money. I’ll not recommend

Expect it to die just out of warranty.

I’ve had 2 of these in 3.5 years. First one was replaced by Macy’s while still under warranty. The 2nd died just out of warranty. It worked well.. until it didn’t. Developed a hot spot and started to melt clothes even on a low setting. I’m in my 60’s, am the only one who touches any iron in this house and always cared for it well. It looks brand new, but it’s now garbage. I have gone back to Rowenta and can’t say I’m any more pleased with their products either. The only iron I have that never dies is one that is close to 50 years old with a total of about 12 steam holes. The other negative on this iron is not being able to clearly see the water level. What person in a suit, in an office with probably zero ironing experience designed this should know what an epic fail it is. I have tried to add 3 pics but have been unsuccessful
