Strap not adjustable

I love the Clark’s brand, but this is the first shoe I wish I hadn’t bought. The sole of the shoe is just the right height and firmness, but the strap is not adjustable like my other Clark sandal. I have tripped many times because my foot is not secure. I wish they were redesigned this sandal with the adjustable strap and it would be perfect.
