Queen size is 5 inches less than mattress size

Mattress pad was washed in cool water and line dried, so not shrinkage due to misuse. The actual padded mattress top measures 55" despite being advertised and labeled as 60x80 inches. Basically, they are selling full size width pads as queen size. I will be returning this because I am not a fan of fraud. I am very sad about this because it seems like it would add just the right amount of comfort to my slightly firm mattress.

Fits, has good loft, and very nice cotton cover

This mattress pad actually fits my 15-16" mattress, unlike some that claim to but don't. The sides are a stretchy polyester type fabric that wraps snugly and goes on easily, and the cotton cover is a nice higher thread count polished cotton, with good fill/loft. Plus the allergen/dustmite protection is something I look for now. I highly recommend.
