Well-made & luxurious

The coverlet is really beautiful in person. It isn't too heavy or wintery-looking giving it a multi-seasonal style. It does have a sheen to it which I like but my husband doesn't. So I reversed it and it looks great with the velvet shams (purchased separately) accenting the velvet border. The quality is excellent. It washed well and didn't lose any of its shape. Highly recommend!

Velvetty Soft

I ordered this as coverlet in the master suite. It looks fine but it does not function well in a chair. It's heavy and the velvet slips away from you as you try to cuddle with it. Something lighter will work nicely. Thanks Macy's for taking such good care of us. I'll go back online and find the prefect thing.

Hotel Collection Velvet King Coverlet & King Shams

Beautiful, medium weighted King coverlet in Dune color which is a medium gold color with a nice sheen. It was exactly what I was looking for for my master bedroom. It is luxurious and works with my gold and silver color scheme. I've only had it for a few months but so far it's wonderful. Although, there are occasional loose threads, which for this price should not occur. I am still happy with it though. I also purchased the 2 matching King shams. Lovely.

Master bedroom luxury

Perfect for master bedroom. Not too hot. Comes down far enough on sides of bed

Measure your bed- this does not touch the floor

The pictures show this touching the floor- making one believe it is a full length bedspread. If you have a box spring, you will need a bed skirt. This is also advertised as velvet and it is really a brushed satin at best. It is not unattractive and I am keeping it but it is not what I was expecting.

great quilt

purchased this quilt for my guest room. I was pleased that it was long enough and wide enough for my queen size bed. It even covers the box spring.

Very linty!

First wash and it was lint all over the place. I'm hoping to return it tomorrow.
