Broken Handle

I bought this Delsey Paris bag based on the reputation and durability of Delsey Luggage. My wife and I just donated a set of Delsey luggage that we bought at Macy’s 27 years ago. The rolling handle broke the first day I used the bag on our trip to Rome. Rolling the bag into the hotel the handle gave way. The bag was not overstuffed, (did not have to use the expandable zipper), the handle just broke. I thought I was getting reliability at a great price, boy was I wrong.

Arrived with scratches and very flimsy

I opened the box and noticed white residue near the handles. The quality isn’t good at all — it feels very flimsy, and the zippers don’t work.

Broke first usage before we even left

The rivets in the retractable handle separated from the vertical sliding rods the very first time we used it before we checked in our luggage.
