Demeyere Atlantis appeals to professional and home chefs for it exceptional performance and elegant design. The 7-layer construction provides unparalleled frying, perfect browning and guarantees exception heat distribution and retention. The straight sided pans boast a 7-layer base, InductoSeal, whose cooper disk ensures impressive heat conduction. For the fry pans and conical saute pans, a specialized 7-ply Material, boasting an aluminum core, is used up to the edge so that heat is spread evenly over the entire surface of the pan. Proprietary technology ensures the base stays flat even when heated. The patented Silvinox surface treatment maintains the beautiful silvery white matte appearance. Enjoy easy maneuverability with the stay-cool, welded handles while the rolled rims encourage dripless pourting.

Kitchen Workhorse

This is what I use when the fry pan is too small to saute. Nice heavy bottom, it sautes vegetable well and does not need high heat to drive the cooking. Easy clean up.

Heats quickly

We use induction. This is our fourth piece by Demeyere, two of which are 5-ply but this lidded sauce pan along with an earlier purchased small frying pan are 7-ply. They are the best, requiring very little heat. We highly recommend this brand.

The best cookware!

I have several pieces of Demeyere cookware. They are all Atlantis, and I love them all! I bought the 2 pc saucepan and a fry pan as a gift for someone who trusts my judgment on these things. Showed him the difference in the features of this brand and many of the others, and there is just NO comparison. The stuff at department stores I guess may suit the needs of just OK cooks, but not serious ones!

First Demeyere pan - its terrific

Pan is much heavier than anticipated, yet heats up quickly and evenly. I had not had a straight-sided saute pan before but am appreciating the design a lot, e.g., spattering outside the pan is nearly non-existent. Seems an excellent investment.

wow, oh wow,oh wow!

This pan seared so even and consistent all thru the cooking surface! There are no hot spots and no areas that don't quite reach temp. like other saute pans. I prefer a saute pan to most skillet, (although the Demeyere skillets are awesome), because I get the most surface area for my cooking style, i usually try to keep the caramelization in the pan a bit and then add liquids once the searing is done. This pan heats quickly and stays at a very consistent temp throughout the cooking surface. I can brown cutlets and chops evenly no matter where they are placed in the pan. this allows me to do more than the 1 or 2 at a time I normally used to do. Gets a beautiful even sear, lovely caramelization md the clean up is amazingly easy. The stunning color of this stainless steel is also worth the price.

Give it a sear!

This pan is amazing! Absolutely beautiful out of the box and after many many uses. I use this pan for a lot of different recipes but my favorite is searing Ahi. The sear is perfect everytime, pan tolerates and performs well under high heat and never bulges or discolors. Not having rivets also makes this pan super easy to clean.

Worth every penny. No question.

This is one of the most versatile pans I own. As a saute pan it has a lid, high straight sides. I use it to make pasta sauces, fry, deep(ish) frying (think skillet fried chicken.) In a pinch, I've boiled noodles. Eggs, bacon, pancakes. No prob. Demeyere Atlantis made me rethink my cookware plan. I have spent my grown-up years upgrading to better cookware, which for me is (was) copper clad pans. But there are some challenges with copper, mostly maintenance. Enter Demeyere Atlantis. I love this stuff! It has all the best parts of copper cookware and it’s easy to clean! In addition to being technically sound (it cooks well; heats evenly and is responsive to temperature changes), it has bonuses that help to justify the price. No rivets - no cleaning around those annoying little screw heads. Comfortable stay-cool handles – easy to grip and lift. The helper loop is a huge benefit. Looks good – shiny exterior stays that way. Just a note – it is heavy, like copper, but some things can’t be helped. There's copper in there, and copper is heavy.

7 Layer Construction

This Demeyere pan has a 7 layer construction including a layer of copper - on of the best heat conductors around. The pan also has flatbase stability which means the pan won't warp, ever, when heated. Can be used on any heat surface and goes up to 500F on the stove top or oven.
