I love this top, however, I feel the care instructions need to be spelled out a little bit more than saying “machine washable”. This top is manufactured with lyocell. I researched this fabric so I knew ahead of time that it is a more delicate fabric than just cotton. Lyocell requires a COLD water wash, either by hand or in the delicate cycle of your washing machine. Then, in order to reduce the chance of shrinkage, hang to dry, or very low heat in the dryer. When I received mine, I turned the top inside out, washed in COLD water on the delicate cycle of my washer (alone, with nothing else), and hung to dry. I did use a dry iron on a very low setting to get rid of a little wrinkling. Be forewarned, heat is not a friend to lyocell! Follow these care instructions and it will easily become one of your favorite tops!
