Dune
This is an intoxicating fragrance, which makes me want to be as close as possibe to my wife. She's careful when to wear it, knowing how it affects me. It has a heavenly scent, that you would imagine angels would wear.
My Sweet Daughter Mari
My daughter is a big fan of the movie Dune so on a whim my son bought her a sample from Walmart for Christmas 6 years ago and ever since that is all she will wear. It is a regular Christmas and birthday gift. She requests it among all other choices. She is an intelligent, modern, creative and caring individual for whom Dune suits perfectly. When I am asked my favorite smell it is always my daughter Mari, thus Dune. It is a sweet, lasting scent that reminds you of peace and calm in the wake of diversity.
IT DOES REMIND YOU OF THE SEA
It has a very strong smell, it is great for wearing by night but in open spaces due to its strenght, it might hurt some people's noses. I definitely do not recommend this to a mother because it is slightly spiced and kids don't like the smell.

I have been using Dune for almost 10 years and just loved it -- I have been getting compliments from a lot of friends/people every time I wear. I know it's expensive but it's worth it! Try it - you'll love it too!
used to love this
I used to love this but it seems a little strong to me now. Reminds me of the 80's. Although I got a lot of compliments when I used to wear it.
one of the best creations of the 90ies
it's the most memorable fragrance in my mother's stash and maybe one of the most remarkable fragrances alltogether. thanks to its unusual top notes (among other things dune plants and broom) which some people perceive as pungent and which are only tamed once the amber from the basenote takes over it remains a scent that continues to stun me with its inimitability. What i like especially: not nearly as watery as post millenium ocean/walk through the dunes themes, and no fruity note. none.
Old Dune Lover
I first encountered Dune as a sample in a sale catalog. When I first tried it on a hated it & was disappointed. it smelled like bug spray to me. But, by the time I was in the car I loved it. It changed as it was on my body. I wore it every day & I believe every day I got a compliment on it. I wore it many years & then...it changed. The saleslady tried to tell me it was my body, but I knew of 4 other people who also thought it had changed. I haven't smelled it in years now, but it would be worth trying again. My husband loved it on me. I was so depressed when it changed.
