Absolute love for our family!
I got this for my 3 year old son. As soon as he saw the package, he was completely hooked!! He loves putting in the screws, taking off the arms and putting everything pack together. It has been wonderful to work on colors, counting skills, and motor skills. He has played with this EVERY day since we got it. I highly recommend this toy. I will be ordering another drill and design toy for my 2 year old's birthday soon. My older daughters (8 & 6) also enjoy playing with this and I love that the pieces are not too small since I have a crawling baby.

My son is 3 and lives drilling. This robot keeps him busy for a long time on hot summer days and during travel on a plane. Highly recommend.

Get Ready for Fun!
The Design & Drill Robot allows you to design a robot using the stickers that come in the box and then you can use the drill to screw in the pieces to build your own robot! #STEM My daughter (age 6) loves this! It is also great for fine motor development!

Made it his own
I love seeing STEM geared toys. This Robot is just one of many Design & Drill products by Educational Insights. It is a lot more fun than it appears in the box. Behind the packaging, there are colorful tools and pieces, including stickers. I decided to let my son do this on his own without me trying to perfectly line up every sticker or decide where each piece goes and he was very happy about making it his own. He told my husband "it was naked when it arrived" and showed him everything he'd created, what he could turn, etc. The funniest part was that he mentioned, "and it doesn't even need batteries so it won't die!" Definitely a creative toy that is good for fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. I'm not sure it the screwdriver was purposely designed to come apart, but ours does so be careful not to lose a piece of it!

This is a fun toy for boys and girls
I enjoyed watching my 5 year old and 2 year old play with this toy. It's self explanatory and even my princess inclined daughter enjoyed putting it together.

"I love, LOVE it!"
"I love, LOVE it!" is what my four-year-old said about this robot. He was very excited about it when I presented it to him and he got to work right away using the screwdriver to unscrew the screws to take the robot apart and then he immediately put it back together again with no assistance from me. In fact, I didn't have to explain anything about this toy to him. It is simple enough that he can take it apart and put it back together himself but interesting enough that he comes back to it again and again. He also enjoyed putting the stickers on the robot on his own. When his friends came over, they were also impressed with this robot and each insisted on taking a turn with it. This toy is definitely a hit!
