Not as good as it used to be

I had to replace my previous Elrene vinyl table pad, which was ruined in the TS Ida flood. This new one is much flimsier; much thinner and lighter weight. It’s ok for the sale price but I don’t think it’s worth buying at its full regular price - I feel like I need a table pad on top of this one.
