Fingers caught in the hinge!
My son got his finger caught! I handed him the drum and was sitting watching him happily drum when he suddenly started screeming because his finger got caught in the hinge. I was able to unstick his finger which was very red. Not safe for babies to use this toy as a drum when the two sades are attached. It is easy to pull the two sides apart for baby to drum safely and it is easy to reattach to use as a ball.

Pinches baby fingers!
I bought this and gave it to my baby yesterday. Within 3 minutes, he managed to pinch his finger between the two drums and was screeming. We had to disconect the two drums for safety. They easily pull apart and can be used safely once separated. Very cute and he likes drumming on them but beware of the center hinge.

Danger
Loved this toy at first because my son had a lot of fun with it, but he is 9 month old and this toy is supposed to be safe for 6 month old and he got his finger stock between both watermelon !

Cute but unsafe
This toy is adorable, but design flaw can't be ignored. There is no lock mechanism in the center to keep this from closing on baby's tiny fingers. You have to supervise baby closely and hold it open for baby to be safe with this. It can lock close, but even that was pretty challenging. When it's closed baby can roll it. This toy is not lightweight either. My baby likes it, but I don't allow him to play with it unless I'm there to guide him with it. I honestly do not recommend this toy.

Baby LOVES it
My 11 month old loves this toy. We roll it back and forth and he loves to push it and chase it around. He thinks it’s so fun. I would definitely recommend.

Fun toy that will keep baby occupied!
I bought this as a gift for a 6 month old and he loved it!! Keeps him occupied on the floor. He loves the sound when shaking it or rolling it around

My son loves it!
I love it! It doesn’t have any distracting lights and it makes noise with just light touches. The ball feature is also great for tummy time.
