Broke in half in the oven

Beautiful while it lasted but it broke in half in the oven last night baking apples. Now I have a broken dish and a sugar coated oven to clean. Very disappointed.

I Love this Baking Dish - it is Superb for Baking

This baking dish is one or the most versatile pieces of cook ware you can have. It is ideally sized to make lasagna. You an cook, serve, and freeze left overs -- all in the same pan. The pottery sides help to even out any erratic changes in oven temperatures. I have baked awesome cinnamon rolls in this pan. I have made Japanese style steamed fish in the dish - it cooked it beautifully. The rectangular baking dish holds 6 Adult portions. The square version holds 4 Adult sized portions. The pan is also a dream to clean - a simple soak in hot water causes most stains to lift right off with a gentle wipe.

Excellent baking dish

The heavy duty stoneware is fantastic for baking with consistent results. It has been my primary baking dish for over ten years because it bakes everything from fish to cake evenly in both gas and electric ovens. The glazed surface cleans easily and is beautiful and durable. It is a worthy purchase of bakeware.

Product failure

We had a 9x13 baking dish that split into two pieces whlie in the oven at 350F. It had only been utilized about six or seven times. I have contacted the manufacturer about this situation. I have photos to send but there was no way to attach them on their site that I could find. I am waiting for a reply from the company to see if they will do something for us.

Not a fan!

We have now bought (2) of these and both have shattered in the oven. We've used them in both electric and gas ovens at below 400 degrees. I guess they are only for looking at, and not cooking!

Worth every penny!

I love Fiesta ware. Not only is it made in West Virginia but it is super durable, well made and very versitile. Worth every penny spent. I love the bakeware I've never made anything in it that that has stuck or burned. I want to replace my glass loaf pans with Fiesta ones as soon as I can. I have the Rectangular Baker, the Square Baker and the Pie Plate. I use them often.
