Flat Curb Link 22 Chain Necklace 5mm in 18k Gold

I purchased this neckless on Black Friday because it was on sale. However, it already loosing its gold color and I only wear it on the weekends and avoid getting it wet. I thought Macy's use good tick layer for there mid range jewelry, but it does not seem that's the case. I think I will save up next time and invest a real 18K it's only been 2 weeks.
