It’s alright

In pictures it looks really good. In person it looks a bit outdated or just like any other shoe. I tried exchanging for a different one but Frye didn’t offer any options there so I just returned it.

Great Boot!

Wear these with my work suits. Lots of compliments. I usually wear an 11, but get these in 10.5. They fit better a half size smaller for me.

Nice boot

Just received these today and applying conditioner before first wear. Overall the simplicity of the design is beautiful. Nice overall style and the construction and consistency between the look of both shoes is great. I ordered tan. They are going to look fantastic with jeans.

The shoe was designed by Frye, bur produced by another company. I have owned older Frye boots and the manufacturer has changed over the years. Beware, Frye is just a name, not a quality.

Tried and true

I love them. It’s amazing to me that the old school craftsmanship is as comfortable as modern shoes considering all the advances they’ve made in materials with regard to comfort and cushioning. I feel like a cooler, more powerful version of myself when I wear these boots. Thanks, Frye.

Not a great boot. The

Not a great boot. The leather quality was not what I expect from Frye. On the first lace, the lace eyelet came off the boot. The boot came scuffed and marked with a different color dye to attempt to conceal the scuffs.

Quality boot with good style

I bought these boots 6 years ago and have worn them multiple days a week since then. They have stood the test of time! I am just now having to replace the heel which is what made me want to come back and leave a review. I’ve used mink oil to protect the leather and it’s kept them looking good and the leather remains soft. I’d buy another pair if I needed them. I wear a 9.5 in running shoes, but the 9 in these boots fits just right.
