Well crafted bedroom set
Me and my partner purchased the Gatlin storage King bed along with the dresser and one nigh stand and love it. We have a small one bedroom apartment and needed plenty of storage. All of the furniture is well made and heavy, If you need a good bedroom set that provides storage and is a great value. Check it out! you wont be disappointed.

Awesome bed!
The bed is great--super sturdy, heavy, looks awesome, and has very handy storage underneath. I am totally impressed with the bed, the salesman who helped us, and the delivery guys who set it up--they even swept our bedroom before they set up the bed!! I would highly recommend this one!

Just what we needed
I rarely write reviews, but the world needs to know how great this furniture is! The bed is very sturdy and so attractive. We got the low dresser as well. Customer service and delivery was great. Big tip for the guys who brought it all up a spiral staircase! Wow. When they say "white glove," it is nothing less. We ordered a couch from Macy's earlier this year, and we are very happy with it. The couch experience made us confident to order a bed set from Macy's. Gatlin pieces are great, and I would highly recommend them and Macy's in general. Nice work! So appreciative of the quality and service twice now!

Another Great Macy's Find!
I finally decided to upgrade to a California King mattress and at the same time buy a bed instead of having a frame and headboard. Of course, the mattress came from Macy's and so it made sense to buy the bed at the same time. I'm very glad to have chosen the Gatlin bed. First of all, the rustic pine is beautiful and coordinates well with the metal frame. Second, it is very sturdy and well-made. Third, unlike many storage beds that have drawers in the front only, this bed has two drawers on each side. It is a very nice feature. The icing on the cake is it coordinated well with the Ember dresser I bought a few months ago. Not being one for matchy-matchy it makes for a great look. Lastly, I want to give a shout-out to David (mattresses) and Maragaret (furniture) at Scottsdale Fashion Square who helped me with this purchase. In addition to having a deep knowledge of their products, they are very service-oriented customer-focused people. They also helped me with my last furniture purchase and I will certainly ask for them in the future. You couldn't ask for finer people to work with.

Excellently designed solid wood furniture!
The title really says it all. We had been looking to replace our old bedroom set with solid wood furniture and all the competition was extremely over priced and not exactly what we had wanted. We were extremely happy to find this set at a Macys furniture store as it met all of our requirements and the pricing couldn't be beat. The delivery was a breeze, within one week of ordering and the only item that needed assembly was the king size bed.

Great Bed
We've had the bed for about two weeks now. So far it's been great. Very solid with no give to it. Looks fantastic as well. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that on one side one of the drawer wasn't perfectly flush. I'm a bit OCD about these things but my wife doesn't mind (it's fairly minimal). The other downside is that while the drawers are very large, they can be pulled out almost all the way. The issue here is that when they come out that far, they feel wobbly that if you put too much pressure on them, they could snap (shouldn't be an issue if you're storing clothing and not bricks). Having a stopper that forced 6 inches or so to remain inside the bed would've been ideal. Again, not too much of an issue if you're aware of this and simply pull them out half way or so. The design of the bed itself is great. I've seen too many storage beds with drawers that run all the way on the side, resulting in you not being able to place a nights next to the bed as it would block access to one of the drawers. Not an issue with this bed. There's an 18" clearance from the head of the bed to the first drawer. Plenty of space for a nightstand. The bed also has a dozen slats, eliminating the need for a box spring as well as adding overall stability to the bed (they're screwed into the frame). Other similar beds had complaints with the slats being too weak and breaking, but on this bed they all seem very solid and shouldn't result in any issues down the road as long as you don't exceed the weight capacity (about 800 lbs). Overall, I'd very much recommend this bed for anyone looking for additional storage, nice design, and solid build.

LOVE this bed!
My husband and I bought this bed a few months ago, right after we moved into our new 1950s home. It goes really well with the midcentury modern style, without being too “cold” feeling. Our bedroom is pretty small, with very little closet space, or even usable wall space, so this bed was a practical choice, with its built in storage. We also bought the complementary nightstands, so we’re almost good on folded clothing. :) All in all, the bed is sturdy, comfortable, stylish, and practical, and we just love it!

Storage is awesome! Bed is awesome!
This bed is stunning! My walls are espresso brown and the bed looks beautiful. I put the bed together myself and it wasn’t that difficult.
