Nice Set, But.........

I purchased two sets of this dinnerware. I wish there had been different selections regarding the color. I'm not crazy about the color, however, I obtained this due to the price. The sunrays or design aren't centered the same on all of the dinnerware. I don't know if that's the way they are supposed to look or not. I've used these on one occasion and intend to use them again. They appear to be very durable. They arrived promply and were packaged appropriately. I commend you personnel at Mikasa.

Love the contemporary style

we ordered an awesome place setting for four. The style is square plates, and the soup bowls are also square.

Poor construction

When you put plates in...only 4 in my case, the caddy actually sags in the middle from the weight!!!

CHEERY SET

I wanted something different, that didn't look like all the other sets of dishes I'd seen. This set gives the appearance of a sunburst, and the shapes are awesome.

love this

This buffet caddy really looks nice on our serving bar. Everyone commented on how nice it looked when they came over recently. I was concern about it's sturdiness after reading the other reviews, but it is quiet capable of sitting in place and holding at least 8 dinner plates (mine are heavy noritake) and flatware. I do not think I would carry it however when loaded. Overall we are happy with the purchase.

A Real Space Saver

I use this to save space on my very crowded serving table when hosting family or neighborhood get-together. A great way to keep all the paper plates, disposable utensils, and napkins for my guests from using space needed for the food since the utensils sit upright and the napkin holder sits over the plate area. I love it and so do my guests!

Ordered makasa dinner ware and received off the wa

I ordered Makasa and received some off the wall brand! It chips! My Makasa I had is 39 years old never chiped!! If my husband did not unpack and throw away all the packing you would get it back why Makasa app but off the wall stuff!! VERY disappointed!
