I bought Hotel Collection comforters before and been very pleased with the quality This one was a step up from a coverlet. There wasn't much loft to it, it was very flat for a comforter.

Don’t pass this up!

If you want an extremely well built, subtle and sexy resort like finish to your bedroom, then don’t pass this comforter up! The quality and attention to detail on this specific hotel collection set is beautiful, I’ll update regarding piling, snags or other concerns in a month, however I don’t think they would manufacture this specific set with anything but the best effort! Do yourself a favor and purchase! I am extremity picky and refuse to leave a good review if an item is anything short of high quality and attainable to most!
