I received one as a gift. So I ordered one for my husband to use at work. And he absolutely loves it.

Not Worth the Hype
Purchased a HydroFlask wide mouth bottle, knowing it was more expensive than its competitors in hopes that it would be of superior quality and performance and not just paying for the logo. Pros — bottle has different lid options — bottle fits into car cup holder easily Cons — boiling water is tepid within three hours — doesn’t keep iced drinks very cold; ice melts after just a few hours. Drink is cool, but not cold Unclear if this is a result of the bottle being metal and the cap(s) being plastic or if the metal is not properly shaped to retain heat or serve as an insulated container. Expected higher quality for the price, but was disappointed and will not be making another purchase. If this is the standard for this type of product, will save my money and get a no name brand in the future. However, I have a no name and it keeps hot liquid hotter and cold liquid colder, and longer than this, so I guess I got tricked by the hype.

Useful bottle update
Flex chug cap is a game changer. No more spills when drinking and moving. The cap makes it so easy to clean the mouthpiece. The design of the bottle allows it to fit in my car’s cup holder.

Great but hard to twist off cap
Great! Keeps beverages super cold all day, even overnight. Only improvement is that the cap can be really impossible to twist off so I have to fill from the smaller mouth piece sometimes, a grip on the side of the cap would help!

Chug cap is the best
I love love that it fits in cup holder and I think I am drinking more water w the chug cap. This is my second hydro flask w chug cap. I also love the mint color.
