MUST READ BOOK
This book was one of the best reads in my life, life altering, it will change how you look at the wild, will make you appreciate nature and your relationships, if you put anything under 5 stars you SUCK.

Why Him?
Other than fitting into Krakauer's brand of "high adventure stories gone terribly wrong," I don't see why this young man's tragic tale warranted an entire book. He was hard to like: His arrogance, and the coldness of cutting off all communication with his family - not to mention literally burning his money rather than giving it away - detracted from my ability to care one bit about what would happen to him next. So eventually I stopped reading it, and will probably return the book. These sorts of "adventures" shouldn't be encouraged.

Into the wild
I really enjoyed this book at first. As I continued to read the more and more I found myself bored and lost. If you like slow books that don't really have something that is a mystery or a very interesting story being it this sif or you. I could never catch myself understanding what was going on. I felt as if the story didn't really have a plot that led to anything. The setting was taken in the wilderness and they were hiking the majority of the time which I understand but that is where the main place was taken. He graduates from school and then goes into the wilderness and that's really all the story.
