Solid knives

Overall good knives, feel sturdy in your hand and love the color. It just took some time for me personally getting used to the serrated edges.

they are good, but!

they are good, but!...the handles are bulky and heavy. the cut like most henckels do, so you're getting that same quality but if you're not using that block and putting into a drawer (with those slide in slits), the handles take up a good amount of space and like I mentioned, a little heavy.

Stay away from micro serrated blades.

Received these knives as a gift from my son after commenting on how much I thought his Henckels knives were some of the nicest knives I had seen. The difference is that his knives were not the micro serrated variety and he (erroneously) purchased these for my wife and I. These knives may work for some, but I find that the micro serrations just rip the meat in most cases. The large knife is near useless as a carving knife. I am not sure what the usage was designed to be. In any case, stay away from the micro serrated blades and go for the regular blades.
