refines skin after first use but so gentle

I tried this when I asked the representative at the Kiehl's counter for a "stronger" tonic because I wanted something that would give my face a more matte finish and tighten my pores. I have combination sensitive skin so I feel like i am always sacrificing one element for the other-a product that fights breakouts usually strips my skin and one that doesn't usually causes some whiteheads. I am so glad she recommended this as it is not "strong" in the sense of striping my face but has helped clear up my nose and small blemishes on my cheeks without drying. I love the way this makes my face feel. I generally use it at night and then I use the cucumber tonic during the day as I find it works better under foundation. I LOVE this tonic, I wish I had known about it years ago. Totally worth the price.

Pores...What Pores!

This tonic is the consistency of water which is very refreshing because there is no thickness to it. I have very sensitive skin and this tonic has a cooling effect and I have had no irritation at all. I have been using this in combination with the rare earth mask and my pores are almost completely gone after only 3 uses.

Perfect addition to my skin care regimen

keeps my pores clear and my skin matte for hours. I have VERY oily skin and this combined my my other Kiehl's skin care products keeps me matte for hours. as with other products I've used I am very happy with the performance.

LOVE!

I love this tonic. I use it everyday in the afternoon after I wash off my day of make up. It is cool, light, and so refreshing. My skin just looks so GREAT: the tone. the texture. my smaller pores. I use this tonic (afternoon) and also the Cucumber Toner (\morning)...and the combination of using both in my daily skin care routine is amazing. Kiehls, you have the best products...everything I've bought from you has improved my skin..and I couldn't ask for more! I highly recommend this tonic.

Swoon!

Oh Rare Earth Pore Refining Tonic (inhale) - how do I love thee? This is the only tonic/toner I have EVER used that works well on my skin. It helps control my oil - I've noticed that my pores seem smaller - and it doesn't dry out my skin even though it controls the oil! It also seems to help with my breakouts. It's a miracle. I will cry, scream, kick and then beg on hands and knees for more if Kiehl's ever discontinues this product.

Never leave home without applying

I slap this on my face before applying a moisturizer every time! makes my pores smaller, my skin looking smooth and fresh, less greasy and its easy to apply.

Undoubtably my favorite product!

My type of skin is oily. This tonic makes it possible for me to have a nice healthy looking skin. When I don't use it I start to get pimples. That's why I use it everyday without fail. Best product ever!
