Useless

Good Day, I received my razor bump lotion and have been using it for over two weeks and still have bumps. You know my Grandfather when he was teaching me crafts would say; son if it’s not broken don’t fix it. Well the original worked great. Put it on and bumps gone next morning. Why would Kiehl’s want to fix something that wasn’t broken. Not very smart.

Smooth Skin

If you are prone to dry skin like I am, especially after shaving, then look no further for relief. After every shave, I will wipe my face with the Kiehls Energizing Tonic to remove any oil or impurities from my face, then I apply a small amount of this after shave cream to my face. After about a minute or so I will moisturize with the Facial Fuel. This leave my skin smooth and well hydrated all day long. No irritation or dry spots.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the past product since I have a stock, but I received a couple of samples from the store and used it! Much better than the past product. Can't wait to get the new stuff!

Change? Not for the better.

I'm a long-time user of Kiehl's Post-Shave Repair Gel. Excellent product, worked great to calm razor-burn and smooth irritated skin. But it's been discontinued. Maybe the *new* version is superior, but I'm not really interested in finding out. New formula, same price, DECREASE in size from 4.2 ounces to 2.5 ounces. Very disappointing.

Why do you always change your products?

I have used your post shave repair gel for years and years - I love it. Nothing too fussy, just a simple post shave treatment that leaves the skin feeling good. Has shaving fallen so out of vogue that you had to discontinue yet another product (which you seem to do quite often).

What Happened to the Old Good Stuff?

Long are you were born (whoever's responding to this review), a millennium or so ago, I reg bought in-store an 8 oz or so bottle of "After Shave Cream," Kiehl's standard-issue yellow-to-cream in appearance lotion. Presumably, it was one of your best sellers; perfection in a bottle. What in all that's holy prompted you to discontinue it and where can I find a suitable replacement? Thanks

Why mess with perfection?

The previous version of this product was outstanding. Don't get me wrong, if being left with a greasy feeling smeared across your face is your thing then go for it. The "New and improved" is not worth the money or the time. RIP close shavers squadron, it was a good run while it lasted.
