Created with Master Bladesmith Bob Kramer, the KRAMER by ZWILLING EUROLINE Stainless Steel Damascus Collection features stainless steel blades made to his exacting standards, maximizing curves, balance and utility. Bob's design has an extremely wide blade to maximize knuckle clearance for larger hands and for cutting through large produce and piles of food. Chopped food can easily be transported with this impressive, broad blade. The knives are hand-finished with a traditional 3-step process by skilled Japanese artisans. Combined with the SG2 micro-carbide powder steel, the ice-hardened CRYODUR blades deliver scalpel-like sharpness, stay sharper longer and can withstand more sharpening over their lifespan. The SG2 super steel core is protected by an exceptionally beautiful 100-layer Chevron Damascus pattern, which is complimented by a stunning black linen Micarta handle and signature Bob Kramer mosaic pin.

Disapointed

I just recieved my knife and was shocked......Chip on blade and the handle had a small chunk missing right next to the pin forming a gap. I returned the knife for a replace from the supplier....I am hoping the second one is not like this. The 8" chief was fine. I gave it Fair because the 8" chief I got was fine. But how could it have gotten through inspection?

Wow

Got these for my wife! And I got an 8inch chef for my chef buddy! They both were blown away by the quality and feel of these knives. My buddy uses his 50 hours a weeks and is amazed at how the edge keeps it’s edge. I think the guy who gave them 2 stars is being rediculous. It was a shopping problem, not anything to do with the quality, or workmanship of this product! I have two very happy people with their quality and workmanship and one does this for a living. Highly recommend!

JUNK

I bought all the Kramer kinves. I wanted the carbons first, 10/6 inch and santoku, but could not get any with handles that were not complete garbage. returned and had them replaced and the replacements were the same. Rivets sticking way out of the wood. quality control is zero. Then i bought the damascus because the micarta handle should not shrink or expand. I thought I was safe with the rivets, but they stick out too. AND the micarta is different from one knife to the next, some are rough, some are smooth. I've bought over 10 knives trying to get good ones, but they are ALL like this. I'll do a video to show you how awful they are.

Comfortable and sharp

This knife and my Kramer pairing knife fit my hand perfectly. The amazingly sharp edge reduces fatigue.

Awesome blade and comfortable handle!

I have used the knife for a few months now and love it! Very different style to my Wusthof Classic's, that I absolutely love and have had for over 15 years and my 35 year old Henckels 8" chef knife, but this is a great addition to my collection. It cuts very well. The handle, using a pinch grip, is very comfortable. A pleasure to use!

Sweet! Feels great in my hand, balanced and cuts wonderfully. Just what a chef's knife should be. Way to go Kramer (and Zwilling).

Bob Kramer fan

I have followed Bob Kramer for quite some time. So excited to finally own my own. IT is unique. Wider blade and substantial handle in my hand. The damascus detail is amazing. The sharpness doesn't compare to any knife I've ever owned. Certainly an investment, but worth it.

Sharp and Beautiful

I've never used a sharper knife. Gorgeous knife with extreme sharpness. Worth the investment. Bob Kramer is renowned for his knife designs so I know I've made a good choice here.
