A masterpiece of art and scent
From the first wif of the scent in a flyer, I immediately ran to a Lancome counter to encounter La vie est belle. No parfum has affected me like this one. The bottle design with its crystal smile and silver leaves flowing to the side like a woman's scarf, is sure to win the fifi award for best design and packaging with its subtle sparkles.. The fragrance is exactly as I would have imagined, magnifitique! It is haunting and compelling. It is soft yet long lasting. Just the right blend of floral, spices and sweetness with a hint of fruitiness to make it an unforgettable fragrance that makes one want to smile when wearing it and should also win the fifi award for best fragrance. Merci Merci Lancome for creating and designing such a beautiful, feminine fragrance La vie est belle!

YUMMILICIOUS!!!
The creative forces behind this scent have come up with a winner! La vie est belle weaves an intriguing, intoxicating spell; all at once softly beautiful and delectably seductive. I'd define it as a floral/semi-oriental with an aldehydic top note, followed by a fruity-floral middle underscored with patchouli. The dry-down leaves a warm, sweet sugary vanilla trail. The iris is dominant throughout and smells very much like powdery-violet. The scent has incredible holding power without being too cloying or sharp--it's simply "yummilicious"!!!

Love! Love! LOVE!
This is an incredibly beautiful fragrance. I have received SOOO many compliments since i started wearing it, and I absolutely love it. Even though I don't notice the scent after a while, people still comment on how wonderful it smells. - must be the perfect scent for me! Thank you Lancome for creating this lovely fragrance!

LOVE at first smell
I was at Macy's today and I smelled this across the store. I had to track it down and when I did, I was so pleased to find that it was a new scent. I've been searching for a "signature" scent, and this is going to be it. It reminds me of a fall day with the Patchouli and sugar scents. My husband, who never likes smells, even said that it smelled very nice. I love this perfume. One word of warning though...a single spray is enough. More than that is overpowering.

I recently bought the perfume and fell in love with the smell. Its not to overpowering and combined with wheir body lotion takes the scent to another level.

Ummmm...
I rec'd a sample of this perfume in the mail and instantly fell in love. Went to Macys the very next day to buy it and decided to spray a bit on myself. I was dissappointed, as it was very strong. But as I was walking around in the store shopping, I kept smelling my hand and I began falling in love again. I couldn't resist so I went back to the counter and bought it. I do agree with the previous comment about you only need one spray as it could be overpowering...but once is "airs out" what a beautiful scent.

Love La Vie Est Belle!
I have never worn a Lancome perfume before, but absolutely fell in love with this new frangance when I tried it in store. My husband loved it, which is rare that we find one we both like! This scent is feminine, yet has a certain characteristic that makes you feel confident. I have been wearing it for a week and have received numerous compliments. I love this perfume and hope to make it my signature scent and "go-to" perfume for years to come. It lasts all day and still smells just a warm and sweet as when you first spritz it on. I only spray my wrists and neck, and it that alone makes for a great all day lasting frangance! Thanks Lancome for this great fragrance, and I must say, picking Julia Roberts for the advertisement was a great choice. She embodies what this fragrance is all about. Feminine, classy and empowered.
