Great Value & Quality
Delicate pattern looks great and functions well. Hope that more pieces will be available to add to my 20 place settings. Very pleased with Macy’s sale pricing. Love Lenox quality.

These are wonderful bowls for a LOT of things -- not just pasta.
I have two sets of these. They used to be made in the US. They no longer are. It's a bit disappointing, but they've closed up the factory that made Chirp and it was our main dish pattern, so we'll likely have to transition to something else over time. But they do seem to still be making a few in other countries. Like this pasta bowl. Now, apart from a slight tint in the paint colour, they're identical to the ones made in the US. Same quality. Same look. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them as replacements. They are a great size. Larger than a chirp salad plate. Slightly smaller than the dinner plates. They hold a lot of pasta. But they also hold... well... everything. And they're not very deep, which means they stand upright nicely in the dishwasher (yes, they're dishwashable and microwaveable). I use them for temporary bowls while cooking, bone bowls, salad bowls... whenever I need a larger bowl, these are a great go-to, because I can then just stick them in the dishwasher, and they stack right next to the plates without taking up extra space. I can fit a LOT of these in the dishwasher (I don't HAVE a lot of them, but I COULD). They're fantastic as general purpose bowls if only just for this reason. But also, they're fine china -- bone china, so they're incredibly durable (don't drop them on the ground, but they're going to last a good while). The glaze on them is beautifully done, and the motif is cheerful and fun. Overall, it's a great product. I'd take a star away because they stopped making the other Chirp dinnerware -- heck, I'd take away ALL the stars if I thought I could convince them to start making it again. But that wouldn't be fair to the bowl.
Customer review from Lenox Corporation
Love this bowl and pattern
Love the Chirp pattern and have had the dishes for years, however just got this pasta bowl recently. It serves many purposes, i.e. as a plate that's great for rice dishes or stew too. I'm just sad I couldn't replace my broken fruit /dessert bowls, seems this pattern may be transitioning out as the selection is now limited. But these do work great as accent dishes if you have other plain white (or plain red like me) dishware. This Chirp line of Simply Fine has held up well over time.

I love Lenox and these plates. Size is great for soup, pasta, salads. I do recommend.
Great Additions to my Set!
Love these bowls! Very low, nice and wide. Perfect pasta bowls and, of course, they match my set. Macy's does a phenomenal job of packing, too. Never a worry about broken dishes.
