Web ID: 498941Great Product!
Got it in every other # of NW for a big Bridal gig I had today...Bride, Mother, Grandmother, Mother-in-Law, and five Bridesmaids! Pump is SUPER sanitary! Product mixes well and spreads like a dream. Good amount of play-time before it starts to set...and, it DID NOT BUDGE! I NEED MORE!!!
ABSOLOUTLY WORTH IT!
To be honest, I was a little dispointed at the size of the concealer once I opened my package... but once I used the product, I realized that this concealer works LIKE A DREAM and is worth every single cent!!! Blended easily... and lasted all night!! I wouldve paid double for this!!! Very very impressed!! A little sure goes a long way...
Wohhoo For Good Concelears!
I love this concelear! I've only been using it one day, and I love it! It doesn't slip off, or anything!! My new fav!
It really lasts!
I was looking for a concealer that would last all day and this is it! The package is quite small but a little goes a long way. I just use it as a spot concealer for blemishes and I only need an amount smaller than a pea to get the job done. It's totally worth the money!!
Bound to be a new favorite for many
Provides more medium than full coverage, but can be easily added to build coverage. Formula is not too watery nor too thick. It seems as though MAC has not used other concealer products as a point of reference for color-matching, so be sure to TRY your usual color and stand out in the daylight to be sure. Applies a tad darker than the same foundation formula and shade. The pump makes it much more sanitary to use and control dispersal. Is not as budge-proof as its foundation counterpart, but does a decent job of staying put. Better for around the eyes, nose, and mouth than for spot blemishes.
My New Fav Product!!
I have the worst scars on my face from when I was younger. When I use any foundation, within a few hours, my scars are showing threw. I learned from a friend that works at a M.A.C. store to apply this as a foundation, with a small powder brush, over a primer. OMG! I could not believe the results.. threw a FULLnight out on the town... you couldn't see any scars.. still looked as great as when the night started!! I also did not break out from this product. A must have for anyone! Also, I do many brides make-up and this is my new favorite product for them.. FYI you can get an airbrush look when applying with the brush!! hope this helps people! muah xoxo
Thank you MAC for a GREAT concealer
I've tried MAC's Select Moisture and Select Cover-Up Concealer and they are great. However, the Pro Longwear Concealer is for me!! It does provide a medium to full coverage with a matte finish. I applied it at 6 am and it lasted all day without a touch up. I apply my foundation first then the Pro Longwear Concealer. You don't need a full pump for coverage. A little goes a long way. I think this product is really great to conceal darkness under the eyes, redness across the cheeks and around the nose. I am of Filipino descent and have a condition called Lupus. I think this is really great if you want to cover up the redness caused from Lupus. Thanks MAC!!!
Not full coverage, not long-lasting
I bought this out of desperation because Studio Finish in NW25 has been sold out literally for MONTHS. I have permanent, brown/purple hereditary dark circles ("real" dark circles) that require a very thick slick of Studio Finish concealer blended into my foundation, followed by a full application of powder to set. This method covers everything opaquely, and will last for more than 15 hours, so this is what I`ve come to expect from anything that claims to be `full coverage`. That said, this is still a liquid concealer, so I`ll admit that expecting true coverage from it was naive on my part. If you require only minor concealing, this review may not apply to you. I bought Pro Longwear in NW25, as this is what I wear in Studio Finish. THIS LINE RUNS DARK. I should have gone a shade lighter. GO A SHADE LIGHTER! I will admit that this product provides medium coverage, which is impressive for a fluid concealer. I have never seen this before. However, I expected it to be buildable, at least, to a full coverage, which is the claim that`s made on this product, after all. No dice. I`ve applied this both thinly, and thickly, and double applications of thin coats, and the result is always the same - looks great before setting, then it oxidizes, thins, crepes up your eyes, and within an hour, it has settled into fine lines, the pigment within those lines breaks up, and you`re left looking ten years older, with dark circles clearly visible. After two hours, it requires re-application, as it is nearly gone. Any rational consumer knows it`s impossible to expect a concealer to last without powder to set it, so I gave it a try. BIG MISTAKE. If you so much as touch this concealer with powder, it will turn GRAY. I initially thought my sponge must have picked up some MAC Carbon eyeshadow and messed up my makeup. It did not. I have tried setting with MAC Mineralize, and drugstore powders, both opaque and translucent, and the result is always gray. After each attempt, I had to wash my face and start over. In short, I`ve been embarrassed every time I wore this concealer. It is no miracle product, and will not conceal any major flaws - certainly not hyperpigmentation like mine. I do suspect, however, that this may work well on women with skin fairer than NW-25 or NC-35 who have minor, or bluish circles that disappear naturally throughout the day. A very, very thin application would probably take care of the creping I experienced, but I need thick coverage. The packaging is wasteful, so I suggest having an empty pot or container handy to deposit excess product and get your money`s worth. This is better than MoistureCover and Select Cover-Up, but falls short of Studio Finish and Sculpt in terms of coverage.
