Marcella is basically famous for her signature style of dress, the black one shoulder dress. I have purchased 3 different variations of it-love them all of them. Quality material provides a good fit. This dress gives new meaning to the classic black dress

Subtle Sexiness

This dress is subtle and impactful at the same time. A timeless statement. There's a bit of extra material around the chest, but I twisted it a few times to get rid of the bunching and it looked like an added detail! Just wish there was a slit to take bigger steps.

flattering & hides the mid section nicely; classy!

I loved the symmetric look of this dress but was a little worried about my mid-section. It actually smoothed out my tummy and hips… very flattering! Got many compliments tonight. Looking for more Marcella dresses to try.

I wanted to love it!

I wanted to love this dress because the cut is unique and beautiful. However, the fabric can be a little see-through (although it does have a thickness to it). I couldn't find a shape wear solution to wear it comfortably. It is a nice and stretchy fabric. I have a smaller chest, so I prefer to wear a bra to even out my proportions, but you can see every line from any shape wear or bra through the dress, which ruined the silhouette for me. It did fit true to size, and was easy to get in and out of. Maybe I would like the black version better.

Fit great, looked great. The size is definitely a true fit and I'm a 2X and 5'8â€and it looked even better once I got shape wear too. My only issue is that there was a black mark on the inside of the dress that almost looked like a shoe print, or now that I think of it even an iron burn. It was black and on the inside of the dress and not too visible, but the problem is that it's a white dress so you could see it from the front as well. I took it to the dry cleaners and they couldn't get it out either. Again, it wasn't THAT noticeable, but when I pointed it out to someone they could see it.

This fits perfectly! The length

This fits perfectly! The length is right on with a pair of heels. I plan on wearing this to a wedding in May. The fabric is very soft and there is full coverage with just the right amount of stretch. The dress is made with quality materials and workmanship. I am 5'6â€ and weigh about 125 and ordered a small.
