Lit Fic at its best

A lit fic fever dream at its best. This is a story of a nun taking her abbey into the future in the most mazing way. We follow Marie as she literally forces her sisters into a more self-sustaining and forward looking way throughout her time leading the abbey. I adored following the drama and power struggles within the abbey and how they managed relations with the outside world. I also found Marie's inner dialogue to be fascinating. Matrix is a story of struggle, self assuredness, sisterhood, and betrayal. Highly recommended.
