Nice Set
We have expanded our collection of barware since we found this design and fell in love with it. It makes for a nice mix of design and helps once you have been drinking and need to remember whose glass is whose.
Fun drinking
This is the most fun and fresh barware set I have, I have the whole Cheers collection and is very different from my other collections, is young, festive and yet elegant and sophisticate…
Love these!
We got these for our wedding and love these! You cant go wrong with these. They are very well made, very thick and expensive looking.
GREAT! But delicate.
I have placed a second order for these now, I had a set of 16 of each (of old fashioned and also large bubble stemmed wines) and I used the old fashioned for everyday glasses and they gradually disappeared through mysterious breakage, in dishwasher or just handling.....but since I have all the stemmed glasses to match and I DO love this design I ordered more and will use these NOT so often. I have not used the wine stems a lot but I would imagine they are even more delicate with the huge bubble top and the thin stem. Men I have served wine to in these were very nervous to use LOL! I still love the Cheers line though and am sticking with it! I have them displayed in glass fronted kitchen cabinets and they look super!
Nice glasses for entertaining and everyday
This is the second set of these glasses I have purchased. I bought the original set from Macy's last year. I love the designs on the glasses--they give a nice subtle decoration and texture. I also, love that these glasses do not lose their appearance after going through the dishwasher. We use these glasses frequently, and they held up very nicely. The new set of glasses are thinner glass, and are lighter than my older set--I imagine Mikasa is like every other company and backing off a bit on quality in order to help the profit margin. Too bad, the original set just had a better feel in the hand--which is why I did not give this product 5 stars. I know the glasses used to be better quality than they are now. Would that stop me from purchasing them again? Probably not.
Quality has diminished
I received the ballon, wine and champagne glasses as a Christmas gift last year. I loved them so I purchased the double old fashioned myself a week later. I went to purchase more this year to add to the set of 4 but was disappointed to see today that not only was it of lesser quality, but the design had actually changed so that it will no longer match my existing set. Mikasa - why fix something that isn't broken? From the reviews I've seen here the diminished quality seems permanent, rather than an isolated incident. I would not recommend these glasses anymore as I did only a year ago.
Wonderful
These glasses came and I could not believe the quality and beauty of this piece. I love these glasses and use them for everything from juice to Old Fashions.

NIce Heavy Glasses
The etched designs are fun and delightful. I like the size and heavyness of the glass and also the fine lip on the edge.
