I love the Kaizen collection, I love the aesthetic of these Japanese knives and how beautiful the 64 layers of VG10 steel is on the blade. Even though the layers are pronounced in that beautiful flower Damascus design, it’s also subtitled in comparison to some other Miyabi blades. I love this santoku, it is the perfect all purpose knife. This knife is a workhorse in your kitchen for all sorts of tasks, mincing, slicing, chopping. The handle feels great in hand, contours nicely and the transition from handle to blade is comfortable. I love how durable this knife is, and that I can enjoy this very sharp Japanese knife for years to come.

Amazing tool
Santoku is great for chopping, dicing, mincing and chopping. This Japanese beauty makes all those tasks even more enjoyable. The Japanese steel is so sharp. The one of a kind design is beautiful. The handle is comfortable and as with most Japanese knives.

What I love the most with this Miyabi Kaizen knife, chops quietly for its sharpness and functionality is awesome..!!! I'd use this every day and never needed a lot of sharpening because it stays sharp as long that you honed it once in a while. A VG10 super steel Japanese knife, scalpel-like sharpness with 65-layer Damascus flower design with katana edge. This exquisite, hand-hammered effect helps prevent food from sticking. High end
This is high end, hand made, and beautiful from tip to end cap. The blade is the super sharp, durable and surrounded by 32 layers of damascus steel. The hollow santoku design will help in the release of some sticky foods. the handle is rounded and super comfortable. Great for chopping, slicing and mincing!
