I was able to alter them

The braid trim is bulky and annoying, but it's just top-stitched on, so I removed it with no trouble. The waist fit, but the side seams stuck out like bulges on my hips. I pinned and took the side seams in to make the hips fit slimmer. I do have to shorten them, but I have to re-hem all my pants. I like the fabric because it's mostly cotton. That's really why I went to the trouble of altering them.

Proportions and decorations made for odd fit

I really want some functional pockets in pants, so I took a chance on these. I'm 5'2", short waisted, short legged, just short I guess. The material is thick and came with a pressed crease. I think this was a true 4, maybe a little small? It's so hard to tell anymore. But the braided detail on the pockets caused them to stick out perpendicular to my legs, right at my hips. They looked like weird jodhpurs almost - I laughed, but it's not a look I'm going for. That cut combined with the high waist made for an unflattering fit. And while the side pockets were roomy, the back patch pockets were about the size of my palm. Dude, why?

Unhappy Customer

Love the color and detail on the pockets, unfortunately these pant do not fit my body.. I have ordered a certain Macys brand in the past, size 14, and they fit and still do (have had them over 5 years) and they still look good. This brand, On 34th, I believe the sizing is off. Waist is too small, seems not in proportion to the rest of the pant. I will admit, they appear well made, however I will return. They just did not work for my body.
