Love the idea. Poor design

I have had this now for about 8 months. I use oil often so I would say we refill it every 2 weeks or so. These are impossible to open. We’ve used hot water, grip tools and very 2 weeks same thing.

An Unchanged Design That’s Impossible to Open

This was sent as a warranty replacement for the same item that I couldn’t unscrew to add more oil. The design is identical to my older version meaning OXO hasn’t fixed the issue. I did buy a strap based oil filter wrench that I used to get the old version open. If you think these companies listen to your comments think again.

The top becomes permanently attached to the glass

It works very well, but unless you regularly loosen the top, the will become permanently attached to the glass -- and of course then you can't refill the container and it becomes useless! We had one of these that became useless, and Oxo kindly shipped a free replacement copy, and advised us that we need to loosen the top regularly in order to keep this from happening. It works OK but is not ideal.

Clean Oil storage

Bought two of these, one for olive oil, one for vegetable oil. Very clean looking, no drip, easy to use. Fits nicely in cupboard as they are slim and straight standing. Would recommend for cooks wanting an easy use. Be sure to label your dispensers.
