Top Straps are Sewn on backwards!!

The front & back straps are sewn on backwards! With the back attachments to straps only 3" apart from each other. The straps supposed to be the front ones are all the way apart to the edge of the back near arm pits. How in the world is anyone supposed to wear this! I could return, cut straps and hardware off and wear as tub, or un do the seams and sew it all back together. I mean really?? Being I needed it for a trip, I now must go buy a new one. No I do not recommend this item. I will be returning it to the store.
