I love this set

I love this set. We have had it for about 2 years now and I still get compliments on them from family and guest. I only wish I could purchase indivdual pieces. I have lost multiple spoons and salad forks.

Nice product but....

The set is beautiful but the knifes are not serrated at the ends and makes it hard to cut meat which makes cutting more difficult. Would not recommend because of this.

dishwasher safe?

I loved the way this looks so I purchased the set, however, on the site it says dishwasher safe but after getting it and opening it there is a little card in the box that says hand wash only. I would like to keep it but I need to put in the dish washer and if i cannot I don't don't want it. Please clear this up and let me know if it really is dishwasher safe as Macy's says or hand wash only as the manufacture says.

Just Beautiful!

It's been three years since I purchased this set for my new home as my guest flatware, and now it's my everything set. I get many compliments from friends and family. It's very shiny and the pattern is just lovely. I'm giving it four stars because I hate that it has made in China stamped on it.

3 Years Later Still Lovely

This flatware set is beautiful, durable, and sturdy. I loved the textured detail. Each utensil has a nice weight to it, but not too heavy to be awkward. We use them as our everyday set, but because they're so pretty it's also my special occasion set. I like that versatility. I put them through the dishwasher weekly and they still shine. We got the set as a wedding present 3 years ago. Still happy with the set, still shiny like new.

Beautiful and Durable

I received this set as a wedding gift over 5 years ago and it has been wonderful. The flatware still looks amazing and has a nice weight to it. I would absolutely buy it again!

Decent

Looks great. Medium weight. Spoons are "dished" a touch more than your average spoon, and I like that. I would have liked a bit more size difference between the soup/teaspoon as well as the salad/dinner fork, but no big deal. Comes well packaged with each piece individually wrapped and similar pieces tied together. This is where it lost a star. I discovered one of my forks had one tine bent and there was a small gouge on the side (pictured). Now, the box arrived to me flawless and each piece is individually wrapped in a foam material. I really feel like this happened at the manufacturing facility. I emailed Reed&Barton's parent company, Lenox, about it along with photos and my purchase order. Their response? Ship it back to Macy's. So I should box this entire set back up, ship it back to Macy's so they can ship me another one that's hopefully perfect, all-in-all probably taking a month? That's how you take care of your customers? You know you messed up, just send me one dang fork!
