German engineers for wine glasses

The wine glass looks beautiful, on the inside of the glass are beautiful ridges that reflect the light. The wine glass is super light which creates a weird balance for me. When I hand washed it and the glass was full of water, it seamed like the Cristal was expending which I thought would break, that made me nervous. The wine glass is tooo expensive there for I’m in a constant fear of breaking it

Too thin

These Performance glasses were beautiful but too impractical for us. They are too big to fit in the dishwasher. They were also extremely thin, so much so that one shattered in my hands while washing it for, maybe, the 10th time. For my money, I'll stick with the Extreme line, which is heftier and more practical.

Great quality, too many choices!

Be careful when you select your glass style! I love my wine but did not know there were so many grape specific glasses. It wouldn't have mattered that this cabernet/merlot glass wasn't the same as the red wine glasses we have but they are too tall for my shelf! I needed to replace a couple of broken ones and now I need to go back with a measuring tape and try to find the correct red wine glass.

New to Riedel

I have never purchased a wine glass from Riedel. I was very happy with this set. It’s better than the Waterford set I recently purchased. Will buy more from the company.
