Beautiful but disappointing

I absolutely love this bedspread. On sale I'll order another. The low rating and reason for purchasing another one is because it isn't well made. I have had it for a few months and have not washed it. It has lost so much of the thread during normal wear that I'm afraid a wash will cause a lot of thread to come apart. The white bias tape along the edge is also disappointing.

Very poor quality

This product is very cheaply made of low quality polyester that looks like linen in the pictures. There is no zipper which makes cleaning or washing expensive or impossible. Surprised that Macy's will sell such low quality product made to look like a luxury product. No customer service to speak of. No confidence shopping at Macy's again.
