this blanket I hope will last longer than most others i have had! The fabric is quilted vs the plush I have in the past. Great color, love the timer!
Keep your receipt
I bought this last winter and will now try to get it replaced under warranty. It worked great last winter, but this year (even with careful handling and storage) it only heats on one side. The blanket is SO heavy that it slides toward the bottom of the bed at night and when you reach down to pull it up, you can't because it's so heavy. The controls are also not long enough to sit up on each bedside table (I have a King) and continually fall down on the floor when you try to turn it on. I'd recommend trying another brand first, especially based on the price of this blanket.
Great blanket
There are many things I like about this blanket. It is just the right weight for my husband and I, not too heavy. It is a nice design, especially the print, which I bought, and has satin trim, and gives a nice feel. It is over-sized, so there is always enough blanket between two people. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is Polyester fabric, and I always look for cotton because that is what I prefer...however, electric blankets don't seem to be made in cotton. Maybe someday...
Worst Controllers but the Blanket feels thick
The Controllers failed right from the opening of the package. One controller never worked from the start. The other controller quit working after one minute. The blanket itself is very nice and thick, in fact, I would say it's the nicest electric blanket I have ever felt. THE PROBLEM IS THE CONTROLLERS. The cords are too short. They advertise 16 feet but I measured 10 feet. The heat level does not stay lit, so you can't see the level at night when it is dark. Internet research reveals the controller is an ongoing problem. These controllers should not be an issue for a blanket at this high price level. I hope the manufacturer of this blanket take heed of this review and improve the quality of their controllers. This electric blanket has the potential to be the best on the market.

It's so thick that we don't even have to use the electric controllers! Beautiful color and feel.
Stand out above the rest
I love the pinecone design and it really isn't all that heavy. I like that the quality is there because it is spendy. I like the fact that it heats instantly so you already know how warm I want it. The design of the settings gage isn't good. It needs to be heavier so that it stays in place. It is lightweight. Overall it is excellent but I give it a 4 because of the gages.
Best Blanket Ever!
Best thing ever! I also use a heated mattress pad so I'm surrounded in 360 warmth and coziness!
