Great speaker, but not really portable
Had this delivered last week and have been using it ever since. Have tried it indoors and outdoors to test it. Firstly it looks stunning and is very easy to operate. Link to Bluetooth on phone is very fast . Download the Sony Music centre app as this helps select the different sound options. Sound is stunning whatever setting you have it I prefer the mega bass option as love dance music. Small flap at the back gives the charging point and the switch for the optional lights. Volume is impressive and easily controllable from your phone volume control. I have not linked up more than one together but would imagine the volume would be incredible. Sound quality even at full blast is not distorted in any way. Quality of exterior materials is as expected top notch. The carrying handle sits flush into the speaker until you need it and is made if very soft rubber type substance which is very comfortable to grip. I have used it to take a couple of phone calls and the quality of the speaker and the microphone man's it is crystal clear for both parties. I have run it for 22 hours before it need charging and it regained full charge in about an hour. There are a couple of little things that ket it down but only very slightly and would not put me off purchasing another one. At 3.1kg I can't really see how it very portable. The other issue is the lighting. Whatever setting you have it on, even in rave mode, they are pretty pathetic. Understandably if they were brighter it would drain the battery quicker In my opinion the lights don't need to be included. Overall a brilliant speaker if you like quality music you can annoy the neighbours with !!

Great speaker with powerful sound
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This speaker packs a punch. Its got some weight to it, but has a nifty handle which folds down completely flat. The sound output is really nice, and its got a lot of volume, without any distortion. It also looks pretty good although the lights at each end could be a bit brighter. Battery life is very respectable even with the lights on, and its got a ver tactile finish. My only real problem, is I wanted to link it to my SRS-XB32 , but they are incompatable. ,

Great Package, Great Performance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am male and in my sixties This is the best speaker yet. The sound is amazing. Mega base gives my music great depth. Very easy to use, DJ function, lights and mobile control are really fun. The build and quality are outstanding. The fabric looks really work. I have no hesitation in recommending this system. The price tag is reasonable for this level of performance, sound and quality I have used it whilst working on my paintings and all around my garden. No parties as yet. The features are good, retractable handle and water resistant connections big plus, the system actually got damp from a short shower and never missed a beat. The battery life is extremely good. The fact that all details appear on two mobile apps. Fiestable and My Music is convenient. I am taking it on holiday next month.

XG300 X-Series portable Bluetooth speaker .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From unboxing I was impressed by how robust the speaker , it was so easy to pair with my iPhone, in fact I did the typical bloke thing and had it set up and pumping out tunes before I’d even opened the instructions. It was that user friendly. The sound quality is so much richer than other Bluetooth speakers I’ve had in the past , and the volume! No distortion at high volume is a nice touch , nothing worse than hearing sounds that aren’t supposed to be there. The lights on the end are a nice touch, though I haven’t used it in the dark yet , when I guess the effect will be much better. All in all an excellent speaker, ideal for barbecuing or camping or even blasting out the tunes in the shower!

Party speaker and some
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On opening box I thought the speakers was a little heavy but after unpacking and seeing the looks and quality of the speaker I understand a lot of engineering went into making it switching on I found easy I downloaded the Sony music app which made life very easy to operate speaker connecting to my iPhone was easy on speaker tells you it’s connected playing music well I was very pleased with tone clarity and the amount of adjustments you can make the lighting was my next thing to check I didn’t think I would use it but again if you download Fiestable another Sony app lights have 10 different settings I found easy to choose one to suit my music and mood to sum up the speaker is easy to carry with retractable handle the powerful sound with mega bass make it a joy to listen to and 25 hour battery life plenty of time to listen to it even though I’m in my seventies I enjoy listening to pop music and the quality of this speaker makes it a pleasure I can thoughly recommend to anyone

Excellent Summer Speaker that produces loud sound
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The XG300 X-Series was sent to me to bee tested as a product tester. The speaker which I call (Beach Summer blaster) is very good for indoor and out door get together. The produces rich and loud sound.
