Bottom peeling off

I loved this cocote and have been using it but I find the bottom is pealing off and now I see the peeled off spots! I am very disappointed. Is this because I bought this on sale? Am I not using it in a proper way? I used it to make stews and soups.

I’m in love with Staub coccottes

This is my third Staub; the coccotte is sturdy, the coating is so thick; it retains heat flawlessly; with good care, you have a pot for life.
