Highly Recommend
Buying a mattress is a very personal decision...but for my comfort and sleepability (is that a word?) this mattress fit the bill. Tried other mattresses before buying and decided "ultra firm" was right for me...over just "firm". Some other mattresses had a top cover with full patterened indentations and I really didn't like that feel. This one is fully "flat" or close to it. The best recommendation is however that, for myself, it's the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on and am pleased with this choice.

We finally broke down and purchased a new Cal King mattress...and so far we love it!

I had a great experience with my sales person, Tammi, however I had to cancel the intire order because of issues with delivery service. They could not give you a time until the night befor and would not allow for a morning or afternoon delivery need. They cancelled my order without my authorization, then pushed it out a week. Will never order from Macys again.
DO NOT BUY
I bought this mattress for several thousand dollars in 2023. It is now 2025 and my boyfriend and I are both suffering aches and pains and pins and needles from the body impressions. I feel conned. I’m now back on the market for another mattress and will never buy from this brand again.
Mattress failed in less than two years
We paid a lot of money for a king Lux Estate. In a little over a year it began to sink on both sides of a ridge in the middle. It is now very uncomfortable and something this expensive should be a reliable product. We contacted the furniture store where we bought it and they sent out a manufactures rep to evaluate it. They placed a taught string across the bed and you could see the depressions and the ridge. They measured the depression at the ridge and said the mattress was fine. I am very disappointed with S&F and the store where I bought it. I will not buy any other products from either again.
Lacks construction integrity, sagging
We are currently in the process of getting the third(3rd)replacement in under one year , all of the beds turned into egg crates, sagging in both positions for her and I. And note; we are average size individuals

The best bed I've ever purchased!
I had hip replacement surgery a while back and slept on a new Serta mattress. My hip seemed to hurt daily! Last March I had to get my other hip replaced, I was miserable the pain during waking hours and my sleep pattern (always broken) was unbearable. I had a Sternsandfoster. 30 years ago and loved it!! I decided it's time to try your companies bed again. Guess what?? I am sleeping through the night and no pain upon waking up!! Sooo to all prosthetic hip replacement seniors this IS the real deal!! The price is affordable. Get some well deserved rest. Thankyou Stearns and Foster !! Karen

Comfortably Firm Mattress
Purchased this mattress after experiencing back pain from sleeping on an older mattress. I'm a stomach sleeper so was looking for a firmer mattress, but my wife is a back/side sleeper. She likes a firmer mattress too, but wanted something that still provided comfort with the support. This mattress fits the bill without breaking the bank. Would recommend.
