This book is fantastic! It has all the favorites from the parks! The Gray stuff was indeed delicious! I loved that Craft included the history of the parks in the beginning. I also really liked the fun facts after the recipes. As a huge Disney fan, I thought I knew it all, but this book taught me that there's still plenty to learn! Some other recipes I'm really looking forward to making are bacon Mac and cheese hot dogs, the CHURROS, Cheshire Cat tails, Lefou's Brew, loaded buffalo chicken tots, school bread, and pongu lumpia. They have the recipes separated by park and area. Also, they have recipes up to and including Star Wars Land! This recipe book is a game changer, and I cannot wait to impress all of my friends with my newfound recipes.

Easily one of my favorite cookbooks this year. Everyone has a favorite memory of Disneyland or Disneyworld and it often includes a special treat you shared with friends and family that is not available outside the parks. Now you can make your own at home. Easy to follow recipes using everyday ingredients will make you the queen of your own magical kingdom.

Bring the Park to you
2020 has not been a kind year and there are a lot of things that we have had to leave behind while we protect our health. While Walt Disney World Reopened this past Summer, entrance is limited and not everyone is willing to travel to get there. What’s the next thing to being there? Enjoying your favorite treats at home until you can get back to the parks in person again! This books is chock full of many of the goodies you have been craving. From Churros to Dole Whip to Pretzels to Macarons. You can get your fix while waiting for your chance to get back to the parks. There are a few Disney lovers in our family who will be getting this book for Christmas! I just wish there were more pictures of the finished treats.

Solid cookbook heavy on Disney and Sweets
I was given a kindle version of this cookbook from Adam’s Media for a candid honest review. I liked preface at the start to let us know Mrs. Craft’s background and relationship with The Walt Disney Parks. It seemed to set up the book nicely. After the preface Mrs. Craft gives a short breakdown of all six parks in the United States. While some of the information is well know to Disney fans, I thought it was a nice concise introduction to each park. The second chapter goes over all the possible kitchen tools you might need for the recipes. While most people won’t have all these tool, I think it is a nice reference guide, especially for people less versed in the kitchen. I like how the recipes are organized by park, that way if you are looking to recreate something for a park visit you know where to look. It also contains a map which allows you to view where within each park the recipe hails from. Each recipe starts with Mrs. Kraft giving a nice paragraph or two breakdown of the establishment that produces each recipe and a little bit about item itself. At the end of a number of the recipes there are did you know segments that provide an extra tidbit of information or a mix it up note of other things to try with the recipe. Mrs Kraft also includes a few cooking tips such as how to bring eggs to room temperature quickly. I did like all these different hits at the end of the recipes, but it did seem a little random on what recipes had the extra knowledge and which ones didn’t. I did find a few of the recipes left me wanting more. An example would be the caramel apples. I mean do we need need a recipe on how to make caramel apples. Another would be the Croissant Doughnuts which is basically fried packaged biscuits. The other thing I found lacking was pictures. People love to see what they are eating. I am hoping the lack of pictures is due to the fact that I received an advance copy. Hopefully the final version has lots of colorful pictures. The recipes seem to draw heavily on sweets in the parks (especially Epcot) so if you are looking for a lot of meals to make with this cookbook, you will be left wanting more. I know three daughters did not seems to mind the heavy emphasis on the sweets. Overall this is a good cookbook. I’d rate it a little higher if you are a big fan of The Mouse or really into sweets. It will appeal to adults and children alike. During this time of pandemic and lockdown, it is a nice way to take a trip without leaving your kitchen.

Delightful Disney treats for all ages!
Do you remember the first time you went to Disneyworld or Disneyland? The thrill of walking down Main Street, seeing the performers, the castle in the distance and…smelling those delicious aromas that waft out of the shops and restaurants. You do, don’t you? Well, this delightful cookbook is for you. Chock full of delicious recipes and glorious photographs, the cookbook is organized by sections of the parks. Each section has at least twelve recipes with varying degrees of difficulty. Author Ashley Craft has made this book easy for the home chef. In the forward, she goes over the kitchen equipment you’ll need for the recipes. Each recipe lists ingredients, step by step instructions with hints and occasional substitutions and a lot of fun facts. For instance, did you know that Philadelphia cream cheese was invented in upstate New York? And oh, the food! Gaston’s cinnamon buns! I can just taste them! Mickey pretzels will be a fun treat to make with children. The hummus trio with breadsticks is a healthy snack and the waffle sandwiches will be a satisfying lunch. You’ll find several recipes for smoothies and desserts. There is something for everyone here - for children and the child at heart! A big thank you to Ashley Craft who created these recipes. Her blog, Ashley Crafted, is full of recipes and ideas. She has packed a Disney dining experience into this book! 5 stars. Thank you to NetGalley, Adams Media and Ashley Craft for this ARC.

Awesome Cookbook!
Whether or not you grew up eating these delicious treats from Disney Parks, you want this awesome cookbook! The recipes are the real deal and show you how to replicate some of the most loved recipes, from savory to sweet. The recipes are easy to follow, and none feel cumbersome to make. I like that it includes equipment needed to create these treats, as most, but not all, are common household kitchen tools. The only thing that would have made this book better was a picture of every single recipe. I definitely recommend this cookbook for all fans of Disney treats. I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own, freely given.

Lacking Photos
This is an unofficial Disney parks recipe book written by a mega fan who has been visiting the parks her whole life. I really loved the park info she added throughout the entirety of the book. It was a special touch and I've already learned a few facts I didn't already know. There are recipes for some classic Disney foods in this book, such as, Dole Whips and Mint Juleps. She's also included some of the newly released Disney treats such as Ronto Wraps from Galaxy's Edge. I'm very excited to try that recipe out! I think the biggest issue with this book is the major lack of photos. There are some pretty photos of Mickey cupcakes, macarons and pretzels; however, overall there is a serious deficiency of food photos which are expected in recipe/cookbooks. I probably wouldn't' purchase this for myself just from lack of photos. How will I believe the recipes are worthwhile if I can't see their goodness before attempting to make them myself?
