Cuts into my heel

The shoe is stylish and moderately comfortable. It is not as soft and cushion than Johnston Murphy or Ecco. In fact, the construction of the entire outer sole is pretty stiff. The upper half of my shoes is so stiff that it’s cutting into the skin above my heel and making it very sore / bleed. I’ve been trying to wear it in for 2-3 weeks now intermittently and it has not soften up. Stylish but cuts into the back of your ankle area. Bummer.
