Tropical and bright!

Love the colors and tropical TB pattern. I washed it before putting it on our bed and wow, the wrinkles! I ran my steam iron over it once on the bed and that helped. I should have heeded the review that pointed out the low thread count but I couldn't find a pattern I liked as much.

Duvet versus comforter

The duvet was the right choice instead of the comforter in our Island climate. Much easier to rearrange for night sleeping.

Disappointed by the quality and finish

A little disappointed by the quality and finish of this one. Only noticed the low thread count after I ordered, and indeed - the quality is on the lower side; which is surprising when you check the full price of this duvet cover set. Not only the fabric with the palm tree leaves is a little rough to the touch, itchy and doesn’t have enough heft, I also wish both sides had the same fabric - but they put a cheap cream color fabric on the other side. Seriously? Meh. Spend a few more bucks and do it right guys. At least use a green fun fabric or so. Cream is the most vanilla boring color one could think of for bedding. Maybe it will feel softer if I wash it with a cycle of vinegar and perhaps I’ll be pleasantly surprised if I sleep on it. The jury is still out there as I got it for a good discounted price, but I just wish it had a higher quality so I’d WANT to keep it. I'll give 3 stars as the print does look nice.
