This combination Soak N' Strain colander from Tovolo allows you to gently wash berries, greens, vegetables, and more. Fill the bowl with water, soak, then simply tip the bowl to drain water through the colander. This colander is a cook's best friend! Drain water out of cooked pasta or boiled vegetables without fuss. Wash vegetables, fruits, and berries in the strainer, and watch the water flow out, leaving you with ready-to-eat ingredients. Colander holes are large to encourage quick draining after soaking. Great little strainer

I like it! A great way to wash a single serving of veggies. Do wish that the blue strainer stood on its own when removed from the white bowl.

Smart, functional idea beautifully executed

GREAT innovative strainer. I like to soak veggies/fruits in a dilute vinegar bath and this is perfect. The strainer easily comes out of the bowl and it does stand on its own small feet (despite earlier reviewer's comment). Very happy with my purchase--beautiful indigo blue color looks great brimming with freshly washed strawberries and can be a serving bowl on the buffet.

Great value for the money

This colander works very well but I found it to be too small - which is my own fault. It's good quality, very sturdy. If you're cooking dinner for one or two people it's a great size but it's not for a family of four.
