This machine will last a lifetime. It's a tank!
I have to admit that I haven't paid much attention to blenders and their capabilities in the past. That all changed when I received this Vitamix. A whole new world of food prep and cooking methods were opened up to me and I am excited about experimenting with this each day! The sturdiness and durability of this machine are evident in the manufacturing and I feel confident with the user-friendly programability and extra features. As a food blogger, people ask me all the time why I am so thrilled about my new machine and I answer with two simple words - 'It's magic!'.

A Kitchen Power Tool
I'm personally not a huge fan of owning too many kitchen appliances but the Vitamix blenders continue to be my favorite because they're the tool I use most often in my kitchen and to be frank, the new A3500 is a visual stunner too. Because of the high speed the blades can easily blend down ingredients to make the silkiest soups with a velvet like texture but it's also a great tool to make fresh batches of whole-grain flours at home when I want to make pizza at home. I can also make cake and muffin batters in a quick minute when needed! And with the high speeds attained, the mixer gives greats results in a very short time than would be expected. One of my favorite features is the safe, self-cleaning option that does a phenomenal job of cleaning the container without my having to reach in there and manually clean out the blades. Vitamix is TRULY worth all the hype!!
I've been wanting a Vitamix for YEARS and was beyond excited when I received this brand new A3500 last month. I am still in awe at how amazing and powerful it is! I had another high end blender which recently stopped working but when it did it seriously didn't even compare to the Vitamix! I make a green smoothie every morning for me and my kids and they the smoothest and creamiest - no more tiny bits of kale left behind. My kids have no idea that there are healthy greens in there and can't wait to have their daily morning smoothie now. We've also made various nut butters, soups and apple purees / sauce and the Vitamix handled them effortlessly! No seeds, pulp, or skin left over. I've also made super creamy banana "nice" cream (just frozen bananas and pure vanilla extract) It's super creamy and my kids can't get enough of it. I also use it to make oat flour- just toss in some rolled oats and it blends it into super fine oat flour which is perfect when you need a gluten free flour option. I love the touch start/stop function as well as the programmable timer. Plus the 10 speeds and 5 programs makes this so versatile depending on what you're making. The clean up is super simple and easy to maintain too. I would highly recommend this blender to anyone who is looking for a blender that will last. I wish I had gotten one years ago - it really is worth it's value and more!

Perfect blender for all my kitchen needs
I was sent this product by Vitamix to give my opinion and all thoughts here are my own. I have previously tried using food processors in my kitchen in place of a blender and never had luck. Soups would spill out the side, the motor would overheat, etc... when I got the Vitamix, I was ecstatic. I have made 3 different soups so far, and each one came out great. The machine is very strong, and heats the soup perfectly as it blends- giving it a beautiful consistency. It's also very easy to use- you select the soup setting and "start" and it does the rest for you. Aesthetically the blender is all I need it to be and more- it's sleek design, and modern colours fit seamlessly into my kitchen, something other appliances rarely do, or do well. I am happy to have it on the counter. The interface is great, the display is bright and easy to read. I always worry that appliances will be hard to use when they have a lot of presets and programmability, but the Vitamix really does make it easy. Finally, cleaning couldn't be easier. Fill with a couple cups of warm water and a drop or two of soup and run, and you're pretty much done. Makes me excited to use it because I know it won't be difficult to clean up after. I love this blender and can't wait to keep making more with it.

Responsive Touchscreen! Love it!
I was sent this product for free in exchange for an honest review! All opinions are my own! I am totally loving the Vitamix A3500! This the third Vitamix machine I have used over the course of many years, here are my thoughts! Touchscreen/display: I am usually a buttons and switches person, so to be honest, I was a bit skeptical of the touch pad before the product arrived. After one use I was in love! The touchscreen is easy to see (both the size of the print and as well as the lighting). It is also incredibly responsive! I never have to push an icon more than once to get it to blend, but at the same time it’s not overly sensitive (i.e. I haven’t accidentally grazed the touch pad and turned it on). Timer: This is one of my favorite features of the A3500! I appreciate that each preset counts down the amount of time in the cycle. I also love the fact that the timer runs as I blend without using a preset! Now if I want to replicate a recipe I know exactly how long the blending process should take! I love that I can set the timer and the A3500 will turn itself off after the specified time too! Very helpful when I’m busy in the kitchen! Dial: the dial is also very responsive and works beautifully! It’s very easy to turn the speed of the blender from low to hi in a controlled manner! Container: This is the only part of the A3500 that I am not in love with. If I hadn’t used other containers in the past I would have no idea, however since I have, I have to be honest and say it’s not my favorite one. I prefer the soft, black rubber lid and handle (like the container on the 750 Professional series) to the hard clear plastic one. I find it’s harder to maneuver the plunger during the blending process with the inflexible plastic lid. A great thing about this container is that it’s the perfect size and shape for optimal blending! My smoothies come out perfect every time! I’m also very excited about the new containers that will be coming out in 2017 to pair with this device! The idea of a “smart” Vitamix that can wirelessly pair with other devices (I’m thinking, my iPhone) is genius and something I can’t wait to take advantage of! Summary: the base of the A3500 with the touchscreen is really amazing. I am a believer in something other than physical buttons and switches thanks to this product! I foresee myself using the base of the A3500 with the container from the 750 Professional series for my everyday use in the kitchen!

Smarter, streamlined, and still simple to use!
It took me less time to figure out the basics of how to operate the touch screen display than it did to unwrap the users manual. It is very intuitive, especially if you are used to the controls on previous Vitamix models, just more streamlined and sophisticated. And the blades and blending power are as sharp and strong as ever, if not even more so! One of the first little upgraded details I noticed was the clear lid. At first I was skeptical, I am so used to the rubber one, but I have grown to really love it and the very satisfying SNAP of putting it on. You can see your smoothie blending from all angles now, and as a food photographer/videographer I very much appreciate that. The containers from previous models do not work with this blender, only Self-Detect containers do. I look forward to seeing what other Self-Detect containers Vitamix comes out with going forward, especially smaller options because I tend to use my smaller container most. But even with only the 64oz container at this time, I still find myself using this blender for everything. Of the built-in program options, I definitely use the frozen dessert and smoothie features the most. I usually stand by for a bit and add more liquid or use the tamper as needed, but once it gets going it comes out creamy and perfect every time. It is especially convenient if you are like me and make the same go-to smoothie frequently so you know the amounts already. I can clean-up and put ingredients away while it blends without having to worry about over-blending, which I love. It’s like smoothie autopilot! And the countdown timer is nice too so I’m not guessing how much longer it has to go. I use the cleaning feature all the time too! It is easy, it’s effective even to get those little stuck on bits in the corners and the splashes off the lid, and it gives me no excuse not to clean it thoroughly after every use. Overall I am very pleased with this newer, “smarter” model and excited to see where they take this system in the future! I was sent this product for free in exchange for an honest review. Beautiful, functional, and easy to clean
I live in a pretty tiny apartment in the city, and my kitchen is small with minimal counterspace, so I’m very picky about what appliances I let live on my counter. Function is paramount, and design a close second. A blender has always been a staple. I don’t use any food processors or other grinders because for me, the blender is the ultimate tool. This new A3500 is seriously perfect - perfect for your meal prep, for making seed milks (I’m allergic to nuts), smoothies, soups (the hot soup function is magic. pure magic), purees, even just grinding sesame seeds for baking. I love the touch interface (YAY for easy cleaning!), and the five program settings covers much of what I’d want to make. The design is sleek, and I’m really loving the look of the translucent cap - makes monitoring the content much easier. The brushed stainless is modern and fits in well in my small, functional kitchen. I think one of my favorite parts, though, is the self cleaning. Cleaning blenders was always the bane of my existence (and my husbands’), but the self cleaning function of this blender solves this. Powerful new Blender!
Wow this new vitamix A3500 is powerful and slick! I love the new turn knob and digital reading.It allows me to control more of the settings, if desired. It's still light yet durable like the other Pro series blenders, but with more power. One really cool new feature that I like is the new motor base measurement. The motor base is able to read the container size you’ve chosen and then adjust accordingly with proper blend/program settings. Pretty cool! Can't wait to make more recipes and DIY projects!
