Noise level....?
I use in bedroom during the night as I use no air conditioner. The noise level seems to be higher than other models Of same brand which I use during the day. Remote, timer are nice amenities.

The coolest thing to keep you cool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used our Vornado whole room circulator on one of the first very hot days of the summer so far and it worked beautifully. We didn't want to turn the air conditioner on yet because it was still early in the season but we needed something on this unseasonably hot day. We put the fan in our livingroom which is quite large and opens right into the kitchen so there's no real separation, making the room even bigger and that much harder to cool down. We turned it on and adjusted the speed and it worked so well. Within minutes, the whole room was pleasantly cool. I love the adjustable speed, the energy saver feature, and the remote control. The timer is great too! I left the house in the morning and set the fan to go on about 15 minutes before I came home and it cooled the main room down perfectly. Though I had not heard of this particular model of fan, I have heard of Vornado fans. I would absolutely buy this fan in the store. It is so much more practical and works so much better than the other fans I've tried, stand up fans, window fans, even ceiling fans.

My Favorite Fan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Vornado energy smart medium air circulator. Let me start off by saying I am one of those people who always has a fan on. 24/7 365 Summer or Winter. I am truly impressed with the Vornado fan. It has speeds of 1-99 which you can use the remote, or the buttons on the base. It isn't big and bulky, just the right size, puts out alot of air and keeps it circulating. It has a sleek and stylish design, that looks great. It has a energy saving timer, so if you don't want it to run all day and night. I don't even notice the noise, but like I said I always have a fan on. It is pricey, but it's the best fan I have ever used. Overall an amazing product!

Extremely intuitive and convenient - perfect for the summer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the most exciting features of this fan is the remote control. I love being able to adjust the settings without having to leave my bed or get up from wherever I'm sitting. Beyond the convenience of the remote, it also allows the fan's speed to be ticked up or down by a single degree. One of my biggest issues with other fans is the constraints of high, medium and low. I'm almost always wanting a speed somewhere in between. Another great feature of this fan is how quiet it is. The fan it replaced was much louder and would often wake me up while sleeping. This one, however, has a low, pleasing hum that lulls me to sleep - and has yet to wake me up. Even though the fan is quiet, I still feel like its reach is extremely far. I've yet to find a place in my fairly large room that it doesn't reach to. Overall, I think my favorite feature of this fan is its sleek design. It looks modern and sleek. Surprisingly, I've found myself keeping it out on the table, rather than putting it away every morning - something I usually did with my previous, much less appealing, fan. The beautiful design, power, low noise, customization features and remote control make this fan a great buy. I'd definitely recommend this model to anyone looking for these features in a fan.

You'll never buy a different brand again...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before receiving the Vornado Energy Smart Medium Air Circulator, I'd never heard of it before. However, I was pleasantly surprised on this very hot week. The power that comes from this fan is like no other I've used before. Normally I just used a big box fan thinking it gave off more power. I was wrong! The Vornado has setting from 0-99 and you actually feel the air getting cooler, not just breezier. The compact design and stable base allow it to stay on the floor or even on top of your dresser/bookcase. You can adjust the direction of airflow very easily and it even can be faced directly at the ceiling. This allows for complete circulation when the air hits the roof. It's also really nice that you have a remote control to change the settings over a period of time and even a timer!! Yes, a timer that you can have the fan on for a specific amount of time and then don't have to worry about it running all day. I'll never buy another brand again. The air technology is AMAZING!! I've been telling all my family and friends about the Vornado and it's exceptional power, durability and high class look.
