Liek peanut butter and jelly

Peanut butter and jelly, knife and honing steel, you can't have one wihtout the other. The honing steel maintains the edge, keeping it sharp, without removing steel. It would be like owning a car an never changing the oil. After much practice and youtube videos, I actually find honing to be theraputic.

Good to have around
