The knife is working very well. It is a little bit heavy, but is still good. The heavy part gives better cutting. I like it more than my previous light Henckels knife.
Best Knife Ever!
This is by far the best knife I have ever purchased. Don't know what took me so long to purchase it. It was a little pricey for my liking but it was definitely worth it. My husband even raved about it when he was cutting his brisket.
Great comfortable knife for hours of use
I own two of these knives now. One for me at work and one for my wife who cooks the most important meals at home. The half bolster design is ergonomic and very comfortable. This is my go to knife for chopping loads of herbs and dicing onions since the blade is so thin and durable. It's a hybrid of German-Italian engineering with slight Asian design in blade geometry. It's very lightweight and fast in its work!

Great knife had it over 2 yrs
Cuts great edge is getting round some it's a ever sharp my question is there a way to sharpen or straighten edge I don't want to ruin it

Beautiful knife.
Solid in the hand, outstanding quality, razor sharp. Beautifully balanced. We have had other Henkels knives for 30 years and use them daily - they are as good as they day we received them as wedding presents.

Great Knife
Bought this knife for slicing bread, rolls, muffins, and cakes. It is too short for flattening cake layers in one cut which is the reason for the 4 stars. I will be purchasing a 10" bread knife in the near future. It has proven to be very useful for slicing meat, for example thin slices of chicken breast meat. It is very sharp and very well balanced. I am not an enthusiastic fan of serrated knives because of the inconvenience of maintaining the edge, I don't like seeing any shiny, rolled over spots on a knife edge. So far I have been able to use a steel to straighten the shiny points.
